March 2022 NAJA News

March is Full of News From NAJA!

First, NAJA extends the best wishes to Region V CSC, Edith Crosby, as she retires from service to NAJA. Edith began her JA journey as a Provisional Member of Junior Auxiliary of Madison County in 2003. She transitioned to an Active Member in 2004. After serving her Chapter well for 5 years, she transitioned to a Life Member in 2009. Edith’s love for JA remained which brought her to service as a Region V CSC for 12 years! Over these years, she has touched many lives, made many friends, and has shared a ton of knowledge. Edith has always loved her Chapters and has worked hard to make sure that they are taken care of. While she has decided to retire, she will never lose her crown. Thank you for your many years of service, Edith! JA loves you and will miss you dearly! Please join us in sharing your love and appreciation for Edith by social media posts, letter, or email. Let’s let Edith know how beloved she is. Next on the agenda is preparation for JA week. This year we will celebrate JA week April 3-9. The NAJA Marketing and Technology committee has put together a sample of Proclamation, Press Release, Social Media posts, Social Media pictures, and much more for your Chapter to use during this week! We provided ideas on how to celebrate or give back that week, starting with the recommendation of participating in the NAJA Foundation 5K. The sample documents will be sent via e-mail to your Chapter’s PR Chairman and Chapter President soon. You may also access each document on the NAJA Website by accessing the Resources > Member Center > Chapter Resources > Public Relations Resources > JA Week. If you have any questions, please email najamarketingvp@gmail.com. We look forward to seeing your celebrations! Make sure to tag us in all social media posts and stories so we can join in on the fun!
